Hobbies

One of my favorites hobbies, as you’ve probably noticed, is to draw.  I started to draw when I was four or five years old. Although the first drawings weren’t great, I enjoyed making them, I loved to take any picture from a book or a magazine to try to copy it. When I was a child I used to draw animals I saw on TV programs or in educative albums, and obviously, I didn’t know it would  become one of my favorite hobbies. Today I still draw, but, because of the university, I don’t spend enough time in that activity. Today all my free time is dedicated to sleep.

Now I don’t have enough time as I wished, so I don’t make drawings everyday. But there`s something I didn’t do when I was younger, and that I enjoy now I’m a Little older: Buy comic books! So I can read another’s people stories, told through drawings. Once I got a new comic book, I lamínate it, and if I can, I try to get the author’s signing.

That’s how the hobby has been evolving: From simple animal drawings made by myself, to complex stories from different authors.

Everytime I buy a new comic book, I try to learn new techniques to make drawings and to tell stories. I’d really love to make my own comic book. Maybe one day I’ll do it, who knows?

To do that, I must learn a lot of things about facial expressions and body movements, because without those skills I would never be able to make a decent comic.

Maybe if one day I have enough time to do it, I’ll publish my own cartoons J
